this sounds quite yummy

Our Byzantine friends have NO meat, eggs or dairy for Lent. I always bring them a big basket of eggs and some meat for Easter :)

Wow! Everything sounds so delicious and healthy. Can I visit this week? :)

I agree with Rebecca, and what a great sacrifice for them to all decide together :))) Happy Lent!

We're giving up Pop Tarts this year. Not necessarily for Lent, but just b/c they're an unhealthy crutch I've leaned on for 5 years. I don't eat them, but they're convenient and fast for the kids. Anyway, I liked seeing what your family eats. I've spent the past couple of weeks actually cooking breakfast. Profound idea, I know. I'd love to see your menus more often. They inspire me!
