I really love Germany, They have more Castles than any other country. I saw so many on a boat trip there it was wonderful. ! Also the Rhine wine is good too!!

Wendy in VA

England?

Teresa

Oh! She is cruel Theresa, isn't she? LOL
Rolling black out shades, gotta be Europe.

Laura

First off I really love the new header! At least we now know which ocean you're crossing. :)
I'm putting in my best guesses of Spain or Italy.
What a tease you are; I'll be checking in!
I'm so excited for you...
On the fear front...I've been trying to stick to Catholic material, but for some reason (maybe it was via jewels' eyes of wonder) I've been led to read the works of Hannah Whittal Smith. Between doses of that, your adventure and re-reading eyes of wonder multiple times I think I have hope... :)
Praying for you Kim in your Olde World travels!!

Ah,but Kim, you didn't finish the verse of the poem. If I am not too muddled in my remembering, it goes,

So it's home again and home again, America for me
My heart is turning home again and there it longs to be
To the land of peace and freedom beyond the ocean bars,
Where the air is full of sunshine and the flag is full of stars.

;-)

Shayne

Does this mean that you're coming over our way Kim?

Good luck with your move anyway, whatever shore you end up on.

Theresa

Beautiful!!!!! I can't wait to see and hear more! And the new header is absolutely fabulous!

Donna Marie

Gee Kim, you sure are mysterious! You do like secrets, don't you? ;o) LOL!
I would guess by the time that it is Germany...
Best wishes to you!!

I'm guessing central Europe. I see the clock in the sidebar. ;-)

Looks like Germany to me --maybe Bavaria.

Barb

"But now I think I've had enough of antiquated things...

So it's home again and home again, America for me,
My heart is turning home again and there I long to be
In the land of youth and freedom beyond the ocean bars
Where the air is full of sunlight and the flag is full of stars...."

Love that poem! So when you're ready to come back home, we hope it's Colorado that you choose again. :) I must be very hard to find a place to call home when you've had the whole world as your home. We will miss you guys.

cheryl

Kim, when I first read this I thought you meant that one member of your family was on each of the seven continents. (I just woke up from a nap.)I look forward to hearing your story.

Kim

Michelle nailed it. ; )

And Cheryl that would be ambitious, even for us lol!

Mary Jean, our poem isn't finished yet. We are on a long term stall in the 'fir-woods'

Barb, you have no idea. There really are so many places to love and no matter where we are we always feel a little homesick for the others. But its a big wonderful world and we have been blessed to experience so much of it. God is good. Our home is heaven. Everyplace else is just temporary!

Wendy in VA

Ah, now I see the rouladen on the window...

I have to admit, I am envious. Please post lots and lots of pictures. Pretty please. :o)

kimberlee

Blessings to you on your new continent! We are looking forward to new bird sighting posts. :-)

There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my bread with you, and sometimes share a sorrow, too.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can sit an hour with you, and I can share a joke with you, and sometimes share reverses, too.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my flowers with you, and I can share my books with you, and sometimes share your burdens, too.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my songs with you, and I can share my mirth with you, and sometimes come and laugh with you.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my hopes with you, and I can share my fears with you, and sometimes shed some tears with you.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my friends with you, and I can share my life with you, and oftentimes share a prayer with you.
