My college boy (thinks he is going to Germany ASAP) would love that place!

PS I think you could hand wash more efficiently than that machine!

Sue Dillier

Thank you for continuing to post in the midst of your move. I do enjoy your writing and photos.

Oh my, oh my! The picture of your daughter looks totally photoshopped in, as the decor is so, um, different. Your bathroom is hilarious! I reckon patience, good humor, and lots of holy water (for them buddhas) will get you through anything. :-) Praying this time of transition goes well for all of you (it's certainly entertaining!). God bless

I am laughing so hard. It's amazing how folks resort to idolatry of one sort or another, even if they don't recognize it as such, when they leave behind the west and all its Christian nature. Annika loves the shower. I am partial to the blue gauzy bed. But they guy in the yard takes the cake.

Sarah

Oh my gosh I am cracking up picturing you trying to wash clothes for your big family in that tiny washer! That's a hilarious proposition.

But the bathroom!!! Way cool.

And the man. Oh, I'm still laughing!!!

Hilarious! And a bit creepy at the same time! The wall art is interesting...the bedroom eyes and the couple in the painting on the wall of the groovy upstairs lounge. The backyard man might just cut the grass and pull weeds! :)

Lisa

I'd take that shower! Pretty nifty -- but, seriously, it must be taking *forever* to do laundry! Is there a dryer? And, while I really do love the blue bedroom (I have my first blue bedroom now and love it) -- I think I'd rather our '70s era burnt orange shag carpets than bright orange walls... Bright! Wow! But, how fun to be doing something so really really different, huh? And how wonderful it will feel to be back to *normal* again when you're settled in your new home. I'm anxious for you guys that that happens soon!

Tracey

Oh my! It's really all I can think to say.

Thanks for sharing!

Rebecca

Oh I didn't picture this from your email. It's all...very...interesting. And...colorful. And completely not. you. LOL! But hey, not much longer right? :)

Theresa

You have the most interesting life! <3 :)

Sherry

What a fun way to say goodbye to Germany!

Barb

The whole post made me laugh! At least it is temporary housing :)

There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my bread with you, and sometimes share a sorrow, too.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can sit an hour with you, and I can share a joke with you, and sometimes share reverses, too.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my flowers with you, and I can share my books with you, and sometimes share your burdens, too.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my songs with you, and I can share my mirth with you, and sometimes come and laugh with you.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my hopes with you, and I can share my fears with you, and sometimes shed some tears with you.. There isn't much that I can do, but I can share my friends with you, and I can share my life with you, and oftentimes share a prayer with you.
