Did you ever notice the Jack o lantern carved out of the sugar beets in Germany? I dont know if they do it in England but they did in Holland and Germany.

Happy Fall! We are having our first freeze for the year. First snow flakes too!


oh my, that was just trippy....when I read your post, I thought, "Hmm, I don't know that one..." but then when I watched the video I found myself singing along right from the beginning, so apparently it is buried in my brain! lol..makes me wonder what else is kicking around in there. Now my 4 year old is singing it. :)

I wasn't aware sugar beets were a big crop in England. They certainly are in North Dakota! And I have wondered why a lot of places brag about only serving 'pure cane sugar.' What on earth could be wrong with beet sugar?
