This was good. I do believe, however, that some grandparents don't have their children or grandchildren's best interests at heart. As parents, we are accountable for the way we raise our children and not for our parent's feelings (though we are responsible for the way we treat them). It's hard at this point in parenthood to think that one of my children could ever reject me. This opened my eyes to that. I like that she said that even though a child might reject you, it doesn't mean you were a bad mother and that we need that over-confidence in those early years just to make it through.
