"Ladies, our homes are our domain to tame. And this isn't a one time project. Just like child training requires constant upkeep, so do our homes. Never stop thinking about what you might try next. Rearrange furniture and try out new colors in your mind. Enjoy the challenge of organizing and making lovely on a budget. Rise with a smile to the job of daily tasks mixed with long term projects. Be the queen of your home who oversees all, as well as the sweet servant who washes the floors.

Proverbs 14:4 is the verse that I keep on my fridge. I read that and thought the same thing. "This is the perfect reminder about our messes and our blessings." So I made a magnet with that verse and I find it is a great reminder.

such a challenge for me, such a challenge. I'd much rather be arranging flower gardens, planted vegetables, cleaning a chicken coop, mowing the grass, playing in the dirt anywhere outside rather than the house. I am SO housekeeping challenged. Oh the guilt. :) Hope you enjoy your travels.

I so agree that we need to make our homes comfortable and tidy. It is true that with children our houses will never be perfect~but who wants perfect houses when you are blessed with those cute smiling little faces! God bless, Rose
